The Powerline shredder series are designed specially for the production of substitute fuels (RDF) and offer a wide variety of innovative equipment and ancillaries. A high output rate for all types of materials such as industrial, household and bulk waste, mixed construction site waste, production rejects, timber, paper, paper rejects etc. guarantees a maximum rate of productivity. Low power consumption and low wear costs are the basis for the Powerline's economic efficiency. |

Applications |
Depending on the job on hand, the Powerline can be operated as an individual machine or as a main component of a complete system for the production of substitute fuels. Direct loading by grabs, forklifts and buckets is possible with individual machines. This simple and economical installation possibility is recommended in particular for clean or slightly soiled materials. |
In the case of very dirty materials, the material is prepared for processing by pre-shredding and pre-treatment by screen, separator and magnet systems. As a part of a typical alternative fuels system, continuous loading of the Powerline is carried out by conveyor belt. WEIMA offers its customers and system planners a competent and reliable partner for creating systems for the production of substitute fuels. |

Features |
Single shaft shredder |
| The single shaft shredders of the newPowerline series were developed from the basis of installation experience and are designed specifically for the production of substitute fuels. Along with the material to be shredded, the throughput rate and material size range determines the individual specification of the machine. More than 40 different machine options are available. |
Rotor |
| The rotor width of 2,000 mm or 3,000 bmm and a diameter of 800 mm guarantee a large screen surface, an aggressive rotor action and, consequently, an extremely high output rate. The speed range of the highly abrasion resistant special rotor is between 80 - 200 rpm and can be regulated as required depending on the type of drive. |
Knife system |
| The knife bearers are screwed or welded onto the rotor depending on requirements. The multi-turn and regrindable rotor knives, as well as the newly developed stator knife system guarantee a considerable reduction in wear costs. Various knife sizes and knife quality grades are also available for special areas of use. |
Drive system |
| Various drive systems are available depending on specific tasks, required throughput rate and contamination of the material. A durable hydraulic drive system is available for highly contaminated feedstock. The electro-mechanical drive with frequency converter guarantees maximum throughput rates for clean and pre-treated materials. |
Screen basket / Screens |
| The hydraulic swivel screen basket allows easy access to the rotor, knives and counter-knives. The resulting shortened set-up and cleaning times guarantee a high level of availability for the Powerline. The segmented screens allow a rapid screen change. Screen sizes between 15 mm and 100 mm are available. |
